Materials

• Worsted weight yarn: Cream or white (150 yds), Pink (20 yds for inner ears and nose), Orange (15 yds for carrot), Green (5 yds for carrot top)
• Size G/4.0mm crochet hook
• 9mm safety eyes
• Black embroidery floss (for mouth)
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle, scissors

Step-by-Step

Head

1. With cream: Magic ring, 6 sc. (6 sts)
2. Increase by 6 sts per round to 36 sts.
3. Work even for 6 rounds.
4. Decrease by 6 sts per round to 12 sts. Insert safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9. Stuff firmly. Close.

Ears (Make 2)

5. With cream: Ch 10. Sc in 2nd ch and each across. (9 sts)
6. Work in sc for 12 rows. Switch to pink for the last 3 rows.
7. Fold ear in half lengthwise and seam the long edge closed. Sew to head.

Body

8. Magic ring, 6 sc. Increase to 30 sts. Work even for 10 rounds. Decrease to 12, stuff, close.

Arms (Make 2) and Legs (Make 2)

9. Arms: Magic ring, 6 sc. Work even for 10 rounds. Stuff lightly.
10. Legs: Magic ring, 6 sc. Increase to 18 sts. Work even for 6 rounds. Stuff.

Tail

11. With cream, magic ring, 6 sc. Increase to 12 sts. Work even for 3 rounds. Stuff and sew to back.

Carrot Accessory

12. With orange: Magic ring, 4 sc. Increase to 8 sts over 2 rounds. Work even for 6 rounds, decrease to close.
13. Leaves: With green, ch 5. Sl st in 2nd ch, sc, hdc, dc. Make 3. Sew to carrot top.

Sew the carrot to the bunny’s paw, add a pink embroidered nose and smile, and your Easter buddy is ready.
