Materials
- Cotton worsted weight yarn: Cream/ecru, Barn Red, Sage Green (50 yds each)
- Size G/4.0mm crochet hook
- Jute twine (for hanging loops)
- Small cinnamon sticks, star anise, or dried orange slices (optional embellishments)
- Yarn needle, scissors
Step-by-Step: 5 Ornaments
1. Rustic Star
- Magic ring, 10 sc. Join. Ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch, sc, hdc, dc, tr. Skip 1 st, sl st in next 5 times. Fasten off.
- Block into shape. Add jute twine loop.
2. Mini Wreath
- Ch 20, join to form ring. Sc around. (20 sts)
- Round 2: Sc, ch 3, sc in same st around for a ruffled edge.
- Tie a small jute bow at the bottom. Attach a cinnamon stick bundle with twine.
3. Farmhouse Snowflake
- Magic ring. Ch 5, sl st in ring 6 times.
- On each ch-5 loop: sl st, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st. Fasten off.
- Starch lightly and block flat. Add jute hanger.
4. Simple Tree
- Ch 12. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch and across. (11 sts)
- Decrease 1 st at each end every row until 1 st remains. Fasten off.
- With jute: ch 6 for a trunk. Sew to tree bottom.
- Embellish with tiny red “berry” French knots.
5. Mini Stocking
- Ch 10. Sc for 8 rows. Fold in half, seam bottom and side.
- Work 2 rows of red at the top for the cuff.
- Add a jute hanging loop to the back.
