Materials

  • Cotton worsted weight yarn: Green, brown, yellow, red, blue (scrap amounts)
  • Size G/4.0mm crochet hook
  • Cardboard or laminated bingo cards (printable)
  • Small buttons or Velcro dots
  • Yarn needle, scissors

Step-by-Step

The Bingo Card Sleeve

  1. Measure your bingo card (standard half-sheet: 5.5 x 8.5 inches).
  2. Front panel: Ch enough to span the card width plus 1 inch (approx 35 ch). Sc for 9 inches.
  3. Pocket fold: Fold up the bottom 4 inches and seam the sides to create a pocket that holds the card.
  4. Top flap: Fold the remaining top over to cover.

Crochet Markers (Make 25)

  1. Magic ring: 6 sc into ring. Join. Fasten off. Make 25 small circles in assorted colors.
  2. Sew a small button or Velcro dot to the back of each marker.
  3. Attach corresponding Velcro dots to each bingo square.

The Carrying Strap

  1. Ch 80. Sc in 2nd ch and across. (79 sts)
  2. Ch 1, turn. Sc across. Fasten off.
  3. Sew ends to the sides of the bingo sleeve so kids can wear it crossbody.
